COSMIC TOAST
STORY : A Single Grain blended distillate of rye & stout runs, including a cask of Neighbourhood Brew's 'Cosmic Stout 1' , distilled in the Distrikt of East Perth, WA. The new make once blended was then placed back into the Cosmic Stout cask to mature, toasted not charred and aged 27 months before bottling at an abv of 44% or 88 proof. The only malted grains were from the distilled stouts, with the Rye Distillate base & barley being 100% unmalted making this a fresh, unadulterated new make expression and cask expression of the toasted Cosmic Stout Hungarian Oak Cask
EYES : Bright yellow gold
NOSE : Lemon Lime Sorbet, Cinnamon Cookie, Flat White. Belgian chocolate, floral nuances, subtle with a powerful oak background
FINISH : Botrytis raisins, burnt honey, plum pudding & sumptuous oak. Spicy clove, cinnamon, nutmeg... elegant.
